Syama Slump Forces Resolute to Cut 2026 Gold Guidance by a Quarter
Resolute cut Syama’s 2026 production guidance to 150,000-160,000 ounces from 195,000-210,000 after July-August output fell to 15,500 ounces. AISC guidance rose to $2,300-$2,400 an ounce, leaving a Q4 recovery dependent on explosives supply, contractor mobilisation and improved access to higher-grade ore.

Resolute’s Guinea State JV Adds a Growth Option Without Project Economics
Resolute Mining has formalised its Guinea partnership with state-backed Nimba Mining Company through Landaya Gold. The venture adds politically aligned exploration optionality outside Mali, but no ownership split, resource base, capital plan or project economics have yet been disclosed.
